People usually say you need to stick to just one niche when creating a blog. But I’m going to go against the grain. I think it’s more important to write about things you love than to try to follow “Best Practices for Obtaining the Most Followers”. And one of the things I love is board games. Coming together around card games and board games has always been a part of my DNA. An early memory for me is attending camp each summer. I remember sitting outside for hours under the shade of a tree, playing UNO with my friends. A few years later, I was introduced to games like Dutch Blitz. I played “partners” until I was good enough to hang with the adults in a game by myself. Then, I discovered the world of cooperative games like Pandemic.

As the years have gone by, I’ve learned that the board game world is a whole lot bigger than I ever imagined. Honestly, I’m still learning all the ins and outs of it. But the purpose of these “Tabletop Tales” is to share what games have worked well for our little group of friends and family.
